The Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) is a brief questionnaire (5 minutes) about the mental health of children and young people aged 2-18, that can be administered by non-clinical staff and completed by parents/carers, teachers and young people (age 11+). It is the world’s most widely used measure of its type and is available in over 80 languages and sign languages. SDQpro registration, organisation set-up, training and ongoing support are free of charge. The only cost to using SDQpro is the assessment you wish to conduct, priced at an introductory US$2 per child, for unlimited assessment across 12 months. Note that this will rise to US$3 per child from August 2026.
